Telehealth is the use of electronic telecommunication technology to support clinical health care. This enables clients to be seen face-to-face for individual therapy or medication appointments in the comfort of their own home using a computer, tablet, or phone with video and audio capabilities. This service is often utilized by individuals who have significant barriers to make in person appointments such as no child care, or no transportation. It is a reliable and secure way of receiving mental health treatment.
Getting Started in Telehealth Services
In order to get started with telehealth services, call (801) 852-1422 and ask to speak to Becky for Telehealth services. She will be able to answer any questions. She will also help you complete the intake paperwork, assist with ensuring that your phone /ipad /laptop (or device) will connect with our technology, and any authorizations that need to be completed.
Eligibility
Utah County residents with Medicaid Insurance.
We also accept Medicaid/Medicare.
We are unable to provide services for individuals with only Medicare.
Bring in your Medicaid card if you have one.
Currently our telehealth therapists provide services only for individuals ages 14 and older.
FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE MEDICAID, funding from grants and contracts may be available for specific services. Please call our clinic for more information. FOR THOSE WHO HAVE PRIVATE INSURANCE, ask for Mountain Peaks Counseling.

Our clinicians are trained to work with a variety of conditions including depression, anxiety, child & teen behavior problems, attention deficit and hyperactivity, post-traumatic stress, sexual behavior problems, and autism spectrum disorders. We also provide post adoption services.
In most cases, treatment for mental illness is highly effective when appropriate interventions are utilized. Our treatment providers in Youth Outpatient utilize a number of effective, researched-based techniques that can help your family members meet their goals and recover from the effects of their emotional difficulties
