Meet the Team

Dave Blume

David Blume, LCSW is the Program Manager for the South Provo Clinic. He has worked for Wasatch Behavioral Health since 1992 and has worked in various levels of care from Skills development to therapy and other supportive services. Dave completed his Bachelor’s degree at Weber State and his Master’s in Social Work degree at Brigham Young University. His professional interests and experience include providing therapy, suicide prevention, developing programs, problem-solving, crisis intervention, supervision, staff development, and training. Dave enjoys anything outdoors- traveling to far away places, camping, hunting, hiking, and fishing in the canoe with his family. He does woodwork and mechanics. He also enjoys going on dates with his wife. “I love being able to help change lives. If I can assist in improving the quality of somebody else’s life I am very satisfied with my job.”

Kaleigh Soderborg, CSW earned her Masters of Social Work Degree from Utah State University and her Undergraduate Degree in Family Life and Human Development with an emphasis on Family Studies from Southern Utah University. Kaleigh provides individual and group therapy at South Provo Clinic. She provides individual and group therapy-based interventions in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Acceleration Resolution Therapy (ART), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), and Play Therapy (Child Based Healing Therapy). Kaleigh works with adults at the South Provo Clinic, and tries to help and support them to the best of her ability.
Before Kaleigh came to the South Provo Clinic, she worked for WBH Provo Family Clinic and did Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with children. Before working for Wasatch Behavioral Health, she worked for the State of Utah as a Caseworker for the Division of Child and Family Services. She was a CPS worker, Ongoing Caseworker, Family Advocate, and Adoption Specialist through the many years of working for the State. She has a lot of experience with anxiety, stress, grief, loss, and trauma.
Kaleigh is originally from Nevada but was born and grew up mostly in Utah during the Summer months. She moved to Utah County two years ago and loves living in this area. She loves playing sports, listening to music, dancing, and singing. She loves to take adventures on walks and loves trying new eateries in the area. She enjoys visiting the State and National parks throughout Utah and neighboring areas.

Kathryn Mabey

Kathryn (Kat) Mabey, CSW, earned her Master’s of Social Work degree from Walden University and her undergraduate degree in Marriage and Family Studies from BYU-Idaho. She provides individual and group therapy at the South Provo Clinic for Wasatch Behavioral Health. Kat is passionate about providing LGBTQ+ and gender affirming therapy. She has prior experience working with Wasatch Behavioral Health since 2021 as a human service worker, a case manager, and now as a therapist. She provides individual and group therapy based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, and Recovery-Oriented Cognitive Therapy (CT-R). Kat works with adults who are classified as meeting Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) diagnostic criteria. She is motivated to work with this particular clientele at South Provo Clinic in meeting their unique needs and helping them improve their quality of life as part of the treatment team that supports them in living as independently as they are able. Kat also has a background working in crisis therapy services at the WBH Receiving Center and currently fills in as a member of the after hours crisis team there and regularly as part of the on-call Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT) on weekends.

Kat is a single mom of 2 and owner of several beloved cats. She is originally from Oregon but has lived off and on in Utah and settled in Utah County with no plans to move on anytime soon. She enjoys photography and graphic design as a hobby and loves being outdoors, hiking or really doing anything soaking up the sunshine. She is on a mission to visit all of the National Parks in the U.S. Kat is particularly passionate about providing support and being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community due to being a member of this community herself. She has a personal goal to (someday) learn Spanish in order to provide more culturally inclusive mental health care in the community.
